“Bless Our Bats” is where the Romeo Peaches come together to talk faith, life, and softball — recognizing that lessons about teamwork, purpose, and gratitude can be found both on the field and beyond it.

Bless Our Bats is a completely optional, once-a-month gathering for any of our Romeo Peaches who want to connect faith and softball in a fun, relaxed way — no pressure, just extra time together on (and off) the field.

Each month, our Peaches — ages 10 to 16 — meet for about an hour and a half to share, play, and grow. We mix softball drills, real-life Bible study, and occasionally, a touch of acoustic worship that brings everything together. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about showing up, learning, laughing, and playing with purpose.

At its heart, Bless Our Bats is about helping our players discover who they are — both as athletes and as young women of faith. It’s a space where girls can talk openly about the challenges they face on and off the field, learn from Scripture, and support each other in an encouraging, judgment-free environment.

Every session focuses on a theme that connects faith to the game:

Confidence – Finding strength in who God says you are.

Teamwork – Learning to lift each other up.

Identity – Understanding your worth beyond wins and losses.

Integrity – Playing fair and living truthfully.

Perseverance – Staying strong through tough innings and tougher days.

Leadership & Service – Using your gifts to help others.

Gratitude & Joy – Playing with a thankful heart.

These lessons go beyond softball — they build character, compassion, and courage.

Each gathering blends faith, fun, and fundamentals:

Welcome & Devotion (15 minutes) – A short, age-appropriate Bible discussion and prayer to set the tone.

Softball Skills & Team Drills (45 minutes) – Hands-on coaching that focuses on a specific skill area (throwing, hitting, teamwork, or leadership).

Faith in Action (30 minutes) – Group reflection, journaling, or small-group conversation tying the day’s skill back to Scripture and real life.

Sometimes we wrap up with music, snacks, or a fun team challenge — always keeping the focus on connection and joy.

A note on this programming:

Romeo Peaches Softball Club is a non-profit organization but is not a Christian non-profit, but we are committed to providing a variety of optional enrichment opportunities that support the whole athlete — body, mind, and spirit.

Bless Our Bats is one of those offerings, created in partnership with individuals who share a heart for connecting faith and sport. Participation is completely optional, and the program is designed to be inclusive, uplifting, and encouraging for any of our Peaches who wish to take part.
